Just kiddie
With the Calgary Zoo two blocks away, it's easy to tempt your little creatures to come along to Cherry Four in the Inglewood nabe of Calgary. Park the cubs at the store's play fort, where they can draw, read and have loads of fun while you grab bedding from Serena and Lily, sturdy furniture from Bratt Décor, and way more.
 
Babies to teens
You'll find a little - or big - something for all kids' rooms here. For instance, the personalized Oopsy Daisy's My Name Is...alphabet canvas, $132, is lovely for a nursery. Boy Zone
"The cool surfin' safari look is the biggest hit with young boys," says store owner Fev Hunter. She carries stylish bedding printed with images of waves and surf-culture icon Woody Station Wagons, from $9, coat racks shaped like surfboards, from $70 each, and matching growth charts, $170 each.
